NASA - The official website of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration features news from the agency, including missions and launch dates. Articles describe selected NASA projects and activities. Multimedia presentations including numerous project photos and videos.

NASA Spaceflight - The largest spaceflight website in the world covers news from any country in the world having spaceflight news. Subject categories include the International Space Station, commercial space programs, Space Shuttle (historical), Russian rocketry, European space programs, and others. An extensive system of forums boasted 1150827 posts in 28681 topics by 25610 members on June 2, 2014. Of particular interest is the section called “Missions to Mars” that covers 380 topics/threads.

The Mars Society - The Mars Society is a space advocacy non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the human exploration and settlement of the planet Mars. It sponsors field research programs at two remote locations on Earth that simulate conditions on Mars, as well as other educational programs.

The Mars Foundation - The mission of the Mars Foundation is “to inspire the next generation of explorers through astounding new STEM projects & research initiatives.” Its Homestead Project intends to design, fund, build and operate the first permanent settlement on Mars. Teams of technical experts have been organized to address the various aspects of the project.

Mars One - Mars One is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands that has proposed to establish a permanent human colony on Mars by 2025. The current concept includes launching four carefully selected applicants in a Mars-bound spaceflight in 2024; they will become the first residents of Mars and every step of the crew’s journey will be documented for a reality television program.

AIAA - The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the world's largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession. It has published 449 books and regularly publishes 16 different journals. It has published the proceedings of technical meetings addressing 46 subject areas, including environmental systems, space logistics and space law. - An online space exploration newspaper/journal covering space headlines, technology, spaceflight, science and astronomy, search for life, sky-watching and entertainment.
